Course Overview

The Arabic Grammar Level 8 (Sarful Mutaqaddam) course, offered by Ta’meer Online Institute, is an advanced Arabic grammar programme designed to deepen students’ understanding of Arabic word formation and morphology (Sarf), with a particular focus on Lafeef (اللفيف) and its two categories: Lafeef Mafrooq (اللفيف المفروق) and Lafeef Maqroon (اللفيف المقرون).

The course explores the structure and formation of Arabic words containing two weak letters (Haroof-e-Illat) among their original root letters (Haroof-e-Asliyah). Students will study both the verbal and noun forms of Lafeef Mafrooq, while Lafeef Maqroon will focus on verbal forms, with its noun forms reserved for the next level.

Purpose:

  • The primary purpose of this course is to strengthen students’ understanding of advanced Arabic morphology and enable them to recognise, construct, and analyse words containing two weak root letters.
  • Through the systematic study of Lafeef Mafrooq and Lafeef Maqroon, students will develop a deeper appreciation of how Arabic words are formed and how changes in their structure contribute to meaning.
  • The course aims to move students beyond simply understanding the translation of a Qur’anic āyah towards appreciating the linguistic precision and wisdom behind the specific words and grammatical forms chosen by Allah سبحانه وتعالى.
  • By combining theoretical knowledge with practical worksheets and regular assessments, the course seeks to develop greater confidence, accuracy, and independence in Arabic grammatical analysis, ultimately supporting a more meaningful and reflective understanding of the Qur’an.

  1. We will cover Motal verbs category – Lafeef and its categories.
  2. Lafeef Mafrooq we will cover both Verbal part and noun.
  3. Lafeef Maqroon we will cover verbal side. And noun in next level.
  4. You will learn construction of words where two haroof elat comes in a Haroof Asliyah.
  5. Ultimately, it helps the student move from merely understanding what an āyah says to appreciating why Allah سبحانه وتعالى expressed it in precisely that form
  • Course Duration: January 2026 to September 2026.
  • Class Schedule: Weekly lectures every Thursday (26 sessions total).
  • Medium: Primarily in Urdu, with bilingual support.
  • Break: There will Summer break, 2 week break in Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Adha break.
  • Assignments: 26 worksheets, each provided with the weekly class, with a passing requirement of 80%.
  • Certificate: Earn e-certificate upon successful completion via email only.
  • Course will be based on recorded audios, so you can listen within a week at your convenience.

Deposit the course fee by the deadline (non-refundable and non-transferable):

  • Local Students: PKR 13,000
  • Global Students: PKR 15,000
  • Late Registration Penalty of Rs. 1,000 will apply if registering after the due date
  • Submit the Ta’meer registration form.

Beside understanding the course content in Urdu, participants must be able to read and reply to messages in English.

Students must have:

  • A personal email account.
  • Access to WhatsApp for communication.
  • Familiarity with using Google Drive and Google Forms.

Participants must:

  • Listen to each lecture in full and take detailed notes.
  • Avoid sharing notes with outsiders or coursemates, as this is considered an amanah (trust).
  • Submit assignments on time and maintain a minimum score of 85% to pass.
